my higher purpose invited me out for coffee one morning. we were joined by my greater good and together we discussed the next chapter of my life. we spoke of wholeness and enlightenment. we talked about how I could heal myself and others. when we finished we rejoiced for we felt awakened and alive. my sacred calling invited me out for lunch one day...

I have seen the worst in people and reached out my hand. I have seen people at their lowest and helped them rise. I have seen people lost and guided them home. I have seen people at their darkest and known that my purpose was to light their way. these are some of the things I have seen and how I chose to react.

I not only love from the heart I also live from the heart for I know that doing so connects me with all that is sacred.

many years ago I was sitting in shipmans cafe with my back to the wall. a woman walked in passed me and froze in her tracks. she turned around and said you have a light around you can I speak to you. I invited her to join me. she was new to the area and asked my advice on matters of spirit. we conversed for about an hour. when she left she hugged, thanked and blessed me. I never saw her again but the message has remained with me. the universe was letting me know that I am worthy. that I have work to do. that I am special. that I am loved. there are always signs so when you set out on your journey be sure to open not only your eyes but your heart and soul.for you are also worthy...

I opened my heart to the beauty of the sacred which purified my soul by connecting me with my angels, ancestors, guides and spirits.

we grow into our true selves when we make a commitment to walking a path nourished with truth that serves the greater good.

I once woke up alive. it took me a bit to realize that I hadn't crossed over. once my head cleared a little I prepared for work but while doing so I passed out in the shower. when I once again awoke I continued my preparation for work. I then walked a half hour to my job while all the while being dazed, confused, disappointed and depressed. this morning I woke up next to my wife with the cat on the foot of the bed as my eight year old entered the room already talking. sometimes survival is truly a blessing.

you are worthy. you are beautiful. you are alive. you are loved. you are special. you are sacred. you are many things to many people. be who you are. embrace who you are. you are a miracle.

I had a breakfast of substance and meaning this morning which filled me with a joy so powerful that I was inspired to venture out into the world with love as my passion, purpose and divine destination.

extraordinary is the journey of spirit that connects with life in ancient ways which heal and transform.

I held the door open for someone and they said thank you. I picked something up an elderly person had dropped and they said thank you. I gave somebody my seat on the bus and they said thank you. the transformational power of a simple act of kindness is pure and beautiful.

I fall more in love with life when I satisfy my mystic yearnings by shining my light and sharing my spirit in sacred loving ways.

the more I become involved in being evolved the more light I bring into my world and the happier my life is.

I took a walk to where belief was born and found a garden of hope from which I gathered seeds of divine purpose that I spread along my path as I blossomed into beauty with each step.

I remember that first night sleeping on a bench downtown not knowing who or what would approach me. I remember sinking in the water thinking I would die because I could not swim. I remember having a gun pointed at me and telling the man to shut up and shoot me. I remember receiving death threats because of what somebody imagined I was. I remember laying alone in bed night after night wishing I was dead. I remember waking up alive and being disappointed. these are the memories that haunt me to this day but I am strong, I am brave and I am alive. I have survived because I have always known that I am worthy of love. my experiences are what has made me good at being a spiritual practitioner because I can relate to peoples suffering. I am here and I am happy. I am alive and I am loved. I remember and then I take that memory and use it to change my world for the better.

I think today I will reshape my world into something extraordinarily miraculous that serves the highest and greatest good.

by opening myself to receive blessings I am inviting love and light into my life thereby creating a better brighter future.

there is always love in a heart that is pure and there is always happiness in a soul that is enlightened.

I had the experience of meeting myself yesterday and was impressed with how far I had come and how much I had overcome.

we prosper profoundly when we share our natural radiance and unique beauty in ways that enrich the soul.

my wife is an academic. we were at the holistic expo in Toronto once and a psychic had a booth in which she displayed a paper stating she had studied metaphysics at a university. my wife asked her which one thinking maybe they had similar backgrounds... the woman was rude and dismissive. I pulled my wife away to talk. she said I don't understand. I said she never went to university she did a workshop on the weekend. she said you can't do that and I told her that I once worked at a call centre and we had a one day orientation in which we received a paper with the word university on I which I threw away. I am not against these things. its just in my day we learned by doing. we learned by experiencing. we learned by talking to elders. we learned by exploring different dogmas and cultures. if you are going to display your credentials make sure they are open, honest and understandable. my heart, soul, spirit, honesty, integrity and authenticity are my credentials.

open doorways into the deepest parts of your inner self and you will discover an abundance of gifts, treasures and blessings that will liberate your mind, body, spirit and soul.

I was talking to my thoughts yesterday and I asked them if they could focus on the more positive aspects of my existence. they said it would be hard but that they would try. yesterday was a good day.

with every act of kindness I heal myself spiritually.

I awoke to the sound of my sacred self singing and was embraced by the true nature of my existence which inspired me to go forth into the world with joy and happiness as my guides.

we are all teachers and healers. I will teach you kindness and you can teach me compassion. I will heal your heart and you can heal my soul. we are all mystics and miracle workers.

it seems that throughout my life every time I am standing on the ledge the universe reaches out and pulls me back thereby letting me know that I am needed, I am worthy and I am loved.

it was when I discovered that a world of opportunities and a universe of possibilities were within my reach that I began a spiritually satisfying journey of evolution and growth.

to touch a persons heart is a magickal healing experience that enriches the lives of both the healer and the healed.

kindness provides me with energetic nourishment which inspires me to engage in compassionate actions that serve the highest and greatest good.

today I choose to empower myself. to show myself the love I deserve. to heal my wounds and soothe my soul. to find beauty in the simplest things. to walk my path in illuminating ways. today I choose me first.

with threads of spirit I weave a coat of compassion which I wear with pride and share with love.

as a person of spirit there are days you must ask yourself am I truly helping this person rise up or are they in fact dragging me down. its nice to think you can save the world but that only works if you can save yourself. sometimes you have to let go lest you drown with them.

I honor the sacred in you. I celebrate your inner beauty. I respect the magnificence of your authentic self. I do these things because your are a being of love and light who is deserving of praise.

I walk my path with a smile on my soul and a song in my heart as I use my unique sacred gifts to help others find their truth and live their dreams.

I gave my depression a gift of unconditional love for Christmas and it gave me a gift of knowledge and awareness which helped me understand myself better.

the glow of light from my true natural self guides me along the highest path to places of divine love where I am immersed in spirit.

people are offended by anything and everything these days. I can say you know I like Mondays and inevitably somebody will write who says - you like Mondays. what the rest of the week not good enough for you. think you are better than the rest of us. who the hell do you think you are... I wrote an article once called let no man raise his hand. its about the abuse of women. some guy wrote me back and complains that you know women abuse to. I get tired some days of the endless ignorance and stupidity. baby its cold outside. really this is what upsets you. children being taken from their parents , mass shootings at schools, churches, malls... this doesn't bother you. racism, sexism, homophobia... this doesn't bother you. I was walking into a store and there was a lady walking behind me. she was so close that if opened the door I would bump into her. so I stepped aside and opened the door for her. she looked at me offended and said I CAN OPEN THE DOOR MYSELF. I closed the door and stood in front of it. I said what was I doing when I held the door open. she said what do you mean. I said what was I doing when I held the door open was I trying to be mean. was I trying to hurt you. she said you were probably trying to be polite. I said and what were you doing when you yelled at me. she stood there silent . I opened the door walked in looked back and said open the damn door yourself and then closed it. pull the cork out of your ass and let some air get to your brain. there are worse things to be upset about in life than misunderstood lyrics. better yet even if its cold outside go out and give somebody a warm blanket or a hot meal. no matter how cold it is outside I always try to keep it warm in my heart.

bless the heart that through kindness gives others the strength to rise above their struggles to a happy joyful life of divine beauty.

there is a miraculous light that guides us in the direction of hope and happiness when we look at the world through eyes of spirit.

as I have grown older I have come to realize that if I bring greater joy with me wherever I go that I experience the extraordinary as I embrace humanity with loving life affirming messages of hope.

while exploring realms beyond this reality I began to grow into an awareness which inspired me to live my highest self.

I have throughout my life struggled with happiness. even when it was presented to me in my youth I did not trust or believe in it. I had found in my childhood that happiness was a false god that giveth then taketh away. my son in the eight years of his life has chipped away at the stone and revealed to me that happiness does truly exist. it is in the purity of his soul, the sacred light within his eyes and the divine love in his heart. for those of you who struggle know that happiness exists. happiness exits. happiness exists...

we are here to do good for the pure energy of the soul is a blessing within us which when bestowed upon others creates a greater sense of happiness and wholeness.

I begin this day with my purpose being to serve the greater good as I reflect the beauty of the universe back home to the world it created.

by connecting with people on a soul level I cultivate and nurture healthy relationships which open me to the light and love of a universe of limitless possibilities.

Live And Love Generously

live and love generously for when we are generous we make deeper connections that help us create a better more beautiful future.

mine has been and continues to be a healing journey. while the wounds are still there they hurt less and less as years go by. awaken to your healing spirit and let its love dress your wounds with lightness and joy.

sometimes the past seems like a scene from a bad movie. I have this picture of my grandmother being bumped into by one of my aunts drunken boyfriends and her dropping the turkey. then I see everybody going after this guy and him cowering in the corner. I then remember that even after this they still all celebrated by getting drunk and stupid. the movies and memories my son will have will be of loving parents dedicated to making him healthy and happy. it will be for him a picture of bliss he can embrace throughout his life.

love and understanding are but two of the infinite riches we are born with. I make it my goal each day to deepen my understanding and increase my love.

if I go outside and find that its too cold I come back in and change into something warmer. if I am doing something and it is not working out I change how I am doing it. if my life isn't good I change it into something better. if you are feeling poorly know that you can always spare some change.

our lives are enriched when we become fully alive for it is then that people can see the heaven within us and experience the joyful magnificence of our true natural self.

I have survived a childhood surrounded by alcoholics, I have fought my way through depression, I have made my way through thoughts of suicide, I have risen from the sewers of homelessness and I have overcome the darkness of my demons. I have done this and more while maintaining my integrity, honesty and dignity. I have done this by never losing my kindness and goodness. I have been rewarded with a wonderful life. I have all that one could ask for. I tell you this because I want you to know that you are worthy of joy, happiness, light and love. you can rise from the ashes. you can ascend into greatness. you can shape a new reality of beauty and truth. you can have a life that loves you back. I believe in you. I know you can do this.

mine are prayers that impress the stars and inspire the heavens for they are blessings that reside within the heart and soul of who I am waiting to converse with the divine.

it is my higher purpose that lifts me up when I am feeling low and shows me the doorway to healing.

when depression sets in I seek those simple sacred moments in life that remind us we are beautiful beings of light and love.

I was sitting on a park bench creating some karma one day when depression sat next to me and asked if he could help. so I gave him a piece of paper and some crayons and told him to draw me a picture of how he feels. when he showed me his picture I helped him add a few things to it which changed it from a sad image into something beautiful. I was sitting by the lake one day creating my own destiny when the devil sat next to me...

I frame my life in a way that works for my brain which helps me create a picture that I place on the mantle of my heart to remind me that I am the master of my own destiny and I can choose to make it something beautiful.

I hear throughout my day whispers of love from the heavens which gently guide me along a beautifully unfolding path of blessings that enrich my heart and enlighten my journey.

we are wether we realize it or not living with miracles. from every breath we take to each step along our path. from the kindness of others to the goodness in our soul. open your heart to the miracles of your life and a new world will appear that connects you to happiness and higher realms.

clarity helps us appreciate and enjoy being alive. a clear mind is a blessing that moves us to live a fully inspired life. remove the clouds, shadows and obstructions in your world and you will see the true beauty and bliss that is the natural flow of life.

inner pathways that lead to magickal places are revealed to us when the heart is pure and the spirit is free.

I find that when I have creative outlets for my madness and depression that the results are miraculous. however to discover and take advantage of those opportunities I must struggle with a brain whose triggers are infinite. so at this time of year I ask not for gifts but for peace of mind.

intention and action when motivated by love serve humanity with energies from the universe that embrace the lightness of our being while inspiring us to elevate our existence to its rightful place in the heavens.

I was sunning myself on the shores of serendipity when I was immersed in waves of transformation which introduced me to my path and aligned me with my purpose.

it was when I began to make better choices that I found the inspiration and motivation to lovingly craft a path I could be proud of.

I am an architect hope laying a foundation of love from which I can build a home of happiness where relationships are healthy and joy is infinite.
